01 The short version
Queensify is a logic-puzzle game published by SafferWorks ("we", "us"). We built it to be played without an account and without handing over your identity. There is no login screen, and we never ask for your name, email, phone number, contacts, photos, or location.
To sync your progress and keep the game running, Queensify uses a small set of Google services (Firebase and AdMob). This policy explains, service by service, exactly what each one touches, why, and how long it's kept. If you'd rather not read it all: we collect the minimum needed to run the game, we don't sell your data, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
02 Anonymous account
The first time you open Queensify, the game creates an anonymous account using Firebase Authentication. This assigns your device a random user ID (a "UID") so your progress can be saved and synced. It is not linked to an email, name, phone number, or any social or Play Games login.
Anonymous authentication (Firebase Auth)
- What
- A randomly generated user ID (UID) created on first launch.
- Why
- To attach your saved progress to your device so it isn't lost.
- Kept
- Until you uninstall the app or ask us to delete your data.
- You
- No account to manage. Request deletion any time (see §11).
03 Cloud progress sync
Your game progress is stored in Cloud Firestore, a Google database, against your anonymous UID — so you can pick up where you left off. This is game state only.
Game progress (Cloud Firestore)
- What
- Stored against your UID: current level and puzzle progress; in-game currencies (honey and crowns); consumables; daily, spin, and Court Pass state; owned and equipped cosmetics; sound and vibration settings; and the "Remove Ads" entitlement flag.
- Not
- It does not store your name, email, photos, contacts, location, or messages.
- Why
- To save your progress and sync it across launches and devices.
- Where
- Google data centers in the us-central region (United States).
- Kept
- Until you uninstall or request deletion.
04 Analytics
We use Firebase Analytics to understand how the game is played in aggregate — which levels are too hard, where players drop off — so we can make Queensify better. Events are not tied to your identity.
Gameplay analytics (Firebase Analytics)
- What
- Gameplay events such as level start / complete / fail, the rewarded-ad funnel, shop, Court Pass, wardrobe, and in-app-purchase events; plus device model, operating-system version, and country (derived from IP — not precise location).
- Not
- No names, emails, or other personal identifiers are included in events.
- Why
- To measure and improve gameplay, difficulty, and features.
- Kept
- Up to 14 months, then automatically deleted.
05 Crash reporting
When the game crashes, Firebase Crashlytics sends us a technical report so we can fix the bug. It captures what the software was doing — not what was on your screen.
Crash diagnostics (Firebase Crashlytics)
- What
- Crash stack traces, device model, OS version, and memory state at the time of the crash.
- When
- Release builds only.
- Why
- To diagnose and fix stability problems.
- Not
- Does not capture on-screen content or personal data.
06 Remote configuration
Queensify uses Firebase Remote Config to adjust game settings (like event timing or tuning values) from our server without an app update.
Remote Config (Firebase)
- What
- Delivers configuration values from our server to the app.
- Collects
- Nothing from you. It is a one-way delivery of settings.
07 Advertising
Queensify shows ads through Google AdMob — interstitial ads between some levels and optional rewarded ads you choose to watch for in-game bonuses.
Ads (Google AdMob)
- What
- Uses your device's Advertising ID for ad personalization and frequency capping, and IP-based regional targeting.
- Not
- AdMob has no access to your puzzle progress or other app content.
- EEA / UK
- Players in the EEA and UK are shown a consent prompt (Google's UMP) before personalized ads are served, and may choose non-personalized ads.
- You
- Reset or remove your Advertising ID in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads. Buying Remove Ads disables interstitial ads.
08 Purchases
In-app purchases are handled entirely by Google Play Billing. Google processes the payment; we never see or store your card details.
In-app purchases (Google Play Billing)
- What
- Google handles payment. The app only receives a success or failure result, the product ID, and the price.
- Never
- The app never sees or stores your payment-card or bank information.
- Why
- To unlock the item you purchased.
09 On-device storage
Your settings and offline progress are also kept locally on your device using Android SharedPreferences, so the game works without a connection. This data stays on your device and is removed when you uninstall the app.
10 Children's privacy
Queensify is intended for players aged 13 and older and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, consistent with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you believe a child has provided data through the game, contact us at safferworks@gmail.com and we will delete it.
11 Your rights & choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR (EU/UK) and CCPA (California). For Queensify, you can:
- Request a copy of the data associated with your anonymous UID.
- Request deletion of that data. We'll action verified requests within 30 days.
- Opt out of personalized ads via your Android advertising settings (and, in the EEA/UK, through the in-app consent prompt).
To exercise any of these, email safferworks@gmail.com. Because accounts are anonymous, please send your request from the device running the game where possible, so we can locate the right data.
12 Third parties
The only third party we share data with is Google, through the services named above: Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config), Google AdMob, and Google Play Billing. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers, data brokers, or other apps. Google's handling of this data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
13 Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we'll update the effective date at the top of this page, and for any material change we'll also show a notice inside the app. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the updated policy.
